Inuyama Castle has
been builit in the year of 1537. The castle has been designated national treasure in 1936. Another name of the castle is white emperor castle which has been brought by Mr. Ogyu Sorai , confucian in Edo era (1642 - 1867) citing from poem written by Rihaku, Chinese poet. The first lord of the castle was Oda Nobuyasu, son of Oda Nobunaga who was larger than life military commander, understanding foreign trade and culture, and unified many governed regions in Japan in around 1580. |

Note 1: Formal name of the temple is 'Naritasan-Nagoyabetsuin-Daiseiji', but it is called 'Naritasan' generally by local people around Chubu District. (Chubu district is located in almost center of Japan) The head temple is Naritasan-Shinshouji temple located in Narita city, Chiba pref. 'Naritasan' is now the biggest sacred place of the God of Fire in Chubu District. It is said that mysterious phenomena or effectiveness is produced by the God of Fire. |
