| ｢瀬戸陶芸の技と美｣と題して国、愛知県、瀬戸市の無形文化財保持者１４名 <下記参照>の作品展が次の通り催されていす。 Entitled "Skill and beauty of Seto Ceramic Art", the work exhibition by 14 intangible cultural asset holders <refer to the following> of a Nation, Aichi Prefecture, and Seto City is held as follows: 期間：２００３年１０月４日〜１１月２４日 AM9:00〜PM5:00 場所：瀬戸市文化センター美術展示ホール１階常設展示室 入館料：２００円 ≪６５歳以上、中学生以下、妊婦、心身障害者は無料≫ Period: October 4, 2003 〜 November 24, 2003 AM9:00〜PM 5:00 Place: The first floor standing exhibition room in fine-arts exhibition hall at Seto City Culture Center Admission fee: 200 yen <<More than 65 years old, below a junior high school student, a pregnant woman, and a mentally and physically disabled person are free >>. 2003年10月26日（日）見てきました。どの作品もすばらしいですが、小生は 鈴木八郎氏の灰釉窯変印花文壷が最も印象に残りました。 I saw this exhibit on Sun., October 26, 2003. Although every work was wonderful, Mr. Hachiro Suzuki's 'Kaiyu Youhen Inka Fumitubo' (translated literally as 'ash glaze burn-color-changed flower-sealed design-pot') impressed me most. 同ホール２階の企画展示室３では加藤唐九朗（日本で最初の重要無形文化財 保持者、即ち人間国宝に認定）、加藤華仙、鈴木青々、河本五郎等の 陶芸作家の作品が展示されています。小生は唐九朗のファンの為、氏の 作品だとどれもすばらしく見えてしまう。 加藤華仙氏の作品が３点展示されており、どれも唸るような出来映え。 この内、牡丹文碧瓷鉢（ぼたんぶんへきしばち）《読みがわからないので 小生が勝手に読みをつけた》は翡翠のような艶やかな緑色と単純な形にも かかわらずきめこまかい模様がアレンジされ人を引きつける魅力があります。 At a planned exhibition room 3 on the 2nd floor, exhibited are the ceramic art -work produced by ceramic artists such as Mrs. Tokuro Kato (designated as a human national treasure for the first time in Japan), Seisei Suzuki and Goro Kawamoto. Since I am an admirer of Mr. Tokuro Kato, all his work looks magnificent. Three pieces of work by Mr. Kasen Kato are exhibited, and people who watch will not be able to suppress a grunt of admiration at the splendid workmanship. This has the charm which will attract people since fine pattern in spited of a simple form is arranged on a glazed potter of fascinating jade green.. 又、企画展示室２では北川民治画伯他の絵画が展示されています。 At a planned exhibition room 2 on the 2nd floor, exhibited are pictures by a master artist Tamiji Kitagawa or the other painters. |

| 館内写真撮影禁止のため作品を紹介できないのは残念です。 現物と写真では雰囲気が違うので撮影自由にしてもらいたいものです。 写真を公開したほうが来館者が増えると思います。主催者には もっと大きな視野で文化をとらえてほしいものです。 |
