水野窯めぐり (No.2)

2003年11月8日と9日せと・まるっとミュージアム大回遊第4回が行われ、瀬戸市の
水野地区と品野地区は2日間、赤津地区は9日のみ、大回遊参加の窯元が開放されます。
その他各地区、各展示館でも、多くのアトラクションが行われます。又、9日、瀬戸市の古刹
雲興寺では｢秋のめぐみ感謝祭｣で、ぜんざい接待や農産物朝市が行われます。

これまで、瀬戸市といえば｢せともの祭り｣を最も楽しみにしていましたが、｢せと・まるっと
ミュージアム大回遊｣も大きな楽しみとなりました。

小生は11月8日、水野窯めぐりに参加の１０個所の内6箇所の窯元を巡ってきました。
この内5ヶ所の窯元は気持よく見学できました。

以下にこの5ヶ所の窯元の様子をご紹介します。

The 4th time of "Large Excursion titled Seto-Whole Musium" is performed in Seto
City, Aichi Prefecture on November 8 and 9, 2003. Pottery which participate
in this excursion are made open to the public for 2 days at Mizuno and Shinano areas
and only for 1 day (Nov.9) at Akazu area. In addition, many attractions are hold at
vaious area and exhibition halls. Thanksgiving festival for the blessings of autumn" is
held at a historic old temple of Seto, Unkoji on Nov. 9. In this festival, sweet red-bean
soup with rice cakes is served for those present and fresh vegetables and pickles are
prepared for sale in the morning fair. ,Although I have been looking forward to
"Setomono festival" up to now, "Large Excursion titled Seto-Whole Musium" has also
become my big pleasure. I have visited 6 pottery among 10 participating in the "Visit
to Kilns at Mizuno area" this time.

瀬戸市国際博覧会推進課及び水野窯めぐり実行委員会へ要望
6箇所の窯元の内、1ヶ所で｢風景なら撮影していいが商品の撮影は禁止。
理由は卸問屋に出す前の未公開作品。｣という所があり、今回そこの窯元の紹介は
止めます。撮影禁止なら最初から陳列部屋や仕事部屋などにその旨掲示すべき。
不愉快だったが小生は瀬戸市民なのでいいですが、市外からの見学客なら、瀬戸市
への評判を落とすことになる。こういう窯元に対し、見学客に対するもてなしの精神
を指導するか、もしくは撮影禁止の商品は公開しないように指導してほしい。　
Request for
"Promotion Section of Seto City about International Exhibition"
and
"Executive Committee of Visit to Kilns at Mizuno area"
The above section or committee concerned should direct hosts in Seto City
(the participants in such festival) the following so that visiters or guests from the
other districts or countries stay comfortably in Seto City:
If taking photos of ceramic work is not allowed , a noitice to the same effect
should be shown. Or, ceramic work which is not allowed to take photos of shoud
not be made open to public.

　　陶器でも土を細かく砕いてしっかり捏ねてあるので、叩くと金属音がする。

　 Since the china clay is broken finely and kneaded firmly, a metallic sound is
