日本六古窯サミット２００５in瀬戸 "Summit 2005 in Seto on 6 Old Kilns in Japan"

２００５年９月１３日～９月１９日まで瀬戸市の｢瀬戸蔵｣で｢日本六古窯サミット２００５
in瀬戸｣が開催されました。
"Summit 2005 in Seto on Six Old Kilns in Japan" was held at "Setogura" in Seto City
for a period of September 13 through 19, 2005.

｢瀬戸蔵｣１階のホールには四季毎に六古窯のテーブルコーディネート作品が展示
されました。
The table coordination work of Six Old Kilns for every four seasons were exhibited
at a hall at 1st floor of "Setogura".

９月１７日１３：３０～１４：２０瀬戸市の｢瀬戸蔵｣２階の｢つばきホール｣で
常滑市長（常滑焼）、甲賀市長（信楽焼）、篠山市長（丹波焼）、
備前市長（備前焼）、越前町長（越前焼）、瀬戸市長（瀬戸焼）
による六古窯首長サミットが｢万博・空港・合併　－　変わりゆく窯業地、その展望
を語る｣をテーマとして行われました。
At "Tsubaki Hall" at 2nd floor of "Setogura" for 13:30 - 14:20 on September 17,
A summit conference in presence of summits from districts of the six old kilns was
held on a theme of "International Exposition/Airport/Consolidation - Prospect on
Changing Ceramic Producing Districts" as follows:

the Mayor of Tokoname (Tokoname-yaki), the Mayor of Kouga (Shigaraki-yaki),
the Mayor of Sasayama (Tanba-yaki), the Mayor of Bizen (Bizen-yaki),
the Mayor of Echizen (Echizen-yaki), the Mayor of Seto (Seto-yaki) gathered to
talk

城戸真亜子さん（洋画家・女優）のやきものトークショーが｢やきものと私　～　
人・まち・こころ｣をテーマとして行われました。
For 14:30 - 15:20,
Talk Show on Yakimono (or Ceramics) was held on a theme of "Yakimono and
Me - People/Town/Heart" by Ms Maako Kido (artist of Western painting and
actress).

当日、３００ｍ程西にある｢パルティせと｣では、愛・地球博（愛知万博）に合わせ
繰り広げられた｢せと・やきもの世界大交流イベント｣の期間中、活動してきた
｢瀬戸市おもてなしボランティア｣のメンバーの交流会が同ボランティアの
名誉リーダーの俳優藤岡弘さんを迎え、開かれました。

An exchange within member from "Seto City Hospitality Volunteer" was held
in the presence of Mr. Hiroshi Fujioka, an honorary leader of thie Volunteer at
"Parti Seto", located about 300 m west of "Setogura" The member were
acting as volunteer for visitors to Seto City during a period of an event of
"Seto Yakimono World Communication" hold in line with EXPO2005

瀬戸市は、｢瀬戸市おもてなしボランティア｣の半年間の活動の成果を今後につなごうと、
万博閉幕後に再編成する考え。　新たに募集して、１０月１６日は再び藤岡さんを
招いて、再出発式をする計画だ。

Mr. H. Fujioka praised EXPO2005, saying "International Exposition of Aichi, EXPO2005
tells environmental importance and scientific usefulness to the world with sufficient
balance, and shows the future image of how human beings should be. Aichi Prefecture
sends wonderful informations", and appreciated the trouble of the citizen member
who supported the exposition behind the scenes.

Seto City intends to reorganize the Volunteer after the end of EXPO2005 in order to
connect the result of activity of "Seto City Hospitality Volunteer" of half a year with
future. the City is planning to newly recruite volunteers, to invite Mr. Fujioka again
on October 16, 2005 and to make a fresh start.
