Seto English volunteer of Seto City guided a married couple from Mexico whose husband is student of Toyohashi University of Technology and two persons from Toyohashi English Volunteer Group "Himawari-no-Kai" (Himawari means sunflower) around Seto City and Nagakute Town on March 25, 2006. Guests experienced pottery forming and enjoyed the visit to "Setogura", bases for sightseeing of Seto and seeing "ceremonial shooting of an arrow" at an Archery Range at Kosenjo Park in Nagakute Town. Iwauemongama, pottery making studio (school) is located at a place of about 10 minutes walking to north-east from Owariseto station of Meitesu Seto Line. The guests enjoyed throwing of pottery (or forming pottery by potter's wheel) thanks to assistance by master of the studio, his wife and his daughter. Each pottery work by the guests will be fitted base rest (after being dried), glazing agents applied, fired at a kiln for completion by the master, ceramic artist. After completion, the works will be sent to the guests designated address with Delivery Service freight collect. To the Archery Range after having lunch at a restaurant in Kosenjo Park. After seeing "ceremonial shooting of an arrow" at the Archery Rang, the guests were asked to choose either one of the two courses, "Visiting of Iwasaki Castle and of Iroganeyama Historical Park" course or "Exploring of Seto City" course. It seemed to be difficult to choose either. The latter course was decided with the reason that the Exploring of Seto City could not be experienced in the other places. Then, we went back to Seto City. Celebratng the first anniversary of opening of "Setogura", free admission to "Setogura Museum" was allowed for the period of March 18 through March 26.
