| 瀬戸市散策 ｢パルティせと｣〜瀬戸蔵〜瀬戸市新世紀工芸館 Walking around Seto City Parti Seto〜Setogura〜Seto Ceramics and Glass Art Center (Photos taken on Apr. 29, 2006) |
| ２００６年４月２９日瀬戸市市街地を散策し展示会を見学。 I walked around downtown Seto to see events at various exhibition halls on April 29, 2006. まず、｢パルティせと｣４階で瀬戸市赤津の陶芸家、寺田みのる氏の｢陶歴50周年特別記念 やきもの展｣を見学。 愛･地球博瀬戸会場の陶壁「天地水明｣（備考１参照）は寺田みのる氏 制作。この陶壁のレプリカが限定で展示販売されていました。この展示会は瀬戸市の後、 東京、横浜、埼玉で催される予定。 【備考１】ウェブ作者コメント 山紫水明は｢山は紫にかすみ、川は澄み切っていること。景色の美しいこと｣ 水明は｢水が澄んで美しいこと。川の水が日月に照らされて美しく輝くこと｣ First, I saw "Pottert Exhibition in commemoration of 50 years Pottery Forming Career of Ceramic Artist, Mr. Minoru Terada" from Akazu, Seto City at 4th floor of "Parti Seto". Pottery walls titled "Tenchisuimei" (which means "heaven/earth/clear and shining water") placed at Seto site of 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan were produced by him. Replica of the pottery walls were exhibitied for limited quantity of sale. This exhibition will be held in Tokyo, Yokohama and Saitama after the exhibiton in Seto City. 次に、｢瀬戸蔵｣の瀬戸蔵ミュージアムへ。 ２階で、｢昔の尾張瀬戸駅｣、｢昔の電車｣、 モロ（昔からの陶磁器工場）、明治時代の万博（フィラデルフィア万博やパリ万博など） へ展示した陶磁器などを見てから、抹茶を飲み、縁日の露店を見て、３階で｢瀬戸３万年の 歴史｣を製品等で読み解きながら見学。 Next, to "Setogura Museum" at "Setogura" citizen center. I saw past "Ex Owariseto Station", "Ex Train", "Ex Ceramic Factory", "Ceramic Works exhibited at world expositions for a period from the middle of 19th century to early, 20th century" (such as Philadelphia EXPO or Paris EXPO) at the "Setogura Museum". Then, I had Matcha (or green powdered tea) and saw fair stalls at 2nd floor, and saw many potteries and porcelain over ages to try to figure out a background flowing in 30,000 years of ceramic history of Seto 最後に瀬戸市新世紀工芸館へ。 Finally, to Seto Ceramics and Glass Art Center. 展示棟の１階と２階の3つの展示ギャラリーで瀬戸市収蔵の海外女流作家の作品展を見学。 ここでは、｢アーティスト・イン・レジデンス｣で瀬戸市に招待された陶芸とガラスの作家の作品 が展示されていました。 ＜展示：２００６年４月１５日〜７月２日＞ Exhibition and presentation building - at 1st and 2nd floor Appreciated works by foreign lady artists in the field of ceramics and glass. The works are collected by and stored at Seto City. The foreign lady artists joined in a project, "Artists in Residence"planned by Seto City in the past. ＜Exhibition period: April 15, 2006 - July 2, 2006＞ 工房棟２階で研修生がガラス工芸宙吹き技法（備考２参照）で成形中の所を見学。 【備考２】ガラス工芸宙吹き技法 窯の中で溶けているガラスを、ステンレスなどの金属製の吹き竿の先に巻き取り、 空中で竿を回しながら徐々に息を吹き込み成形する技法。 Suuporting artists building - 2nd floor A trainee produced a crystal glass (or usual glass work?) by "Glass art work free blowing technique" (See Remarks 2 for the technique).. 【Remarks 2】"Glass art work free blowing technique" Glass melted in a kiln is attached to tip of metal blowing rod while rewinding the rod. Then, breath is blown into the attached glass to form while turning the rod in the air. 交流棟２階のギャラリー２で｢茶と珈琲の器展｣を見学。 １階のコミュニティルーム（兼｢セルフサービスの喫茶店｣）で気に入った作家の器で喫茶。 Infomation and exchange building- at Gallery 2 of 2nd floor Appreciated ceramic works or glass works at an exhibition,"Utensils for Tea and Coffee". A community room-self-service-coffe shop at 1st floor had many cups made by ceramic artists. I had a coffee with a favorite coffee cup. |
