イタリア村～ポートバレエとサンマルコ楽団Italia Mura～ "Porto Ballet" and "San Marco Orchestra"

2006年5月3日、ゴールデンウィークで交通渋滞や満車で駐車できないことを予想して、
瀬戸市の自宅から電車で名古屋港イタリア村へ。
We went to Villaggio Italia by train from our house in Seto City, anticipating traffic jam
or difficulty of parkiing during Golden Week holidays on May 3, 2006.

地下鉄名古屋港駅から出て、駐車場の案内板を見ると、イタリア村の駐車場は｢空｣で、
名古屋港ガーデンふ頭の駐車場は｢満｣。
When seeing a guide plate for parking lots after going out of subway station, "Nagoya Port",
I found out that a parking lot for Villaggio Italia is available and that a parking lot for
Nagoya Port Garden Pier is fully occupied.

ガーデンふ頭の駐車場は時間無制限で固定料金の為、時間を気にせず、名古屋港付近
の散策等を楽しめるようです。
Charge of use for the parking lot for Nagoya Port Garden Pier is fixed one without time
limitation. So, the users may enjoy walking around Nagoya Port withoug taking care of
time.

名鉄瀬戸線｢瀬戸市役所前｣→｢栄｣（普通で35分、急行で27分）
地下鉄名城線・名古屋港線｢栄｣→｢名古屋港｣（17分）- - →イタリア村（徒歩５分）

Meitetsu Private Railway "Seto Line" "Seto-Shiyakusho-Mae" station (or "In front of
Seto City Hall") → "Sakae" station (arrive in 35 minutes by ordinary train; 27 minutes
by express train) Subway "Meijyo Line"/"Nagoya Port Line" "Sakae" station →
"Nagoya Port " station (17 minutes) - - -→ Villaggio Italia (5 minutes on foot)

イタリア村に到着して、すぐに足湯場へ＜写真参照＞。　
村内に温泉が湧出。
Immediately after arriving at Villaggio Italia , we went to footbath place ＜See a photo
below＞ hoto spring was discharged from underground of the site of the Villaggio Italia.

昼食をレストランでする時間がないので、メルカトーレ（市場）で生ハムと野菜入りのパンを
購入して、ヴェネチアクルーズ（１２時１５分出港約１時間）に乗船の為、行列に並んだ。
We had not enough time to each lunch at a restaurant. So, we bought breads with raw
ham and vegitable at a mercatore (or market) and stood in a queue for boarding on
"Venezian Cruiser" (Leaving a port at 12:15).

船内ではビンゴゲームや｢海賊とそれを阻止するちょっとした寸劇｣を楽しみ、甲板に出て、
イタリア村やガーデンふ頭を眺めた。ビンゴゲームの１等はホテルアンヴィエント安曇野
２名無料招待券。　海に浮かぶ白い帆船をイメージした地上63m名古屋港ポートビルが
周囲の景色に調和して自然な感じに見えます＜写真参照＞。
On board the Cruiser, we participated in a bingo game, and took in a skit where pirates
and crews blocking the pirates fought each other. After that, I went to a top deck board
to view Villaggio Italia and Nagoya Port Garden Pier. A prize in the bingo game was
comp (or free tickets) to "Hotel Ambient Azumino" for 2 people. Nagoya Port Building
63 meters above the ground imaging white sailbo at floating on a sea was harmonized
with surroundings and looked like real white sailboat. ＜See a photo below.＞

午後１時１５分下船後、午後1時３０分受付までの時間を利用して、本場スペインからの
フラメンコダンサーによるフラメンコを途中まで見て＜写真参照＞、｢ポートバレエ｣の受付
で、受付を済ませ、S席(一番前の席）へ。プログラム｢ベニスのカーニバルⅡ｣を鑑賞。
公演終了後、サンマルコ楽団のCDを購入。　６人の奏者が目の前で曲目の書いてある
解説書（CDに同梱）にサインをしてくれました＜写真参照＞。
Until curtain time of 1:30 p.m. of "Porto Ballet"from disembarkation at 1:15 p.m., we
saw part of flamenco performance by flamenco dancers from Spain, and completed
application for admission to "Porto Ballet" and had a seat.(S-seat in front).
We appreciated performance of a program Venice Carnival Ⅱ. After the performance
I purchased CD of music by "San Marco Orchestra". Six performers signed commentary
note showing program numbers (packed in the CD) in front of the purchasers.

クルーザーの発着場所は｢ポートバレエ｣の特設会場の前。
A landing place for the cruiser is in front of a site prepared specially for "Porto Ballet".

イタリア村1周年記念特別公演のサンマルコ楽団をバックにしたポートバレエは予想以上
に楽しかった。　ひょっとして、途中で眠くなるかなと思っていました。　オペラではない
ので声には出さないですが、公演前にあらすじの説明があり、その説明を頭に置いて、
バレエを見ると、ストーリーが読めます。
The dance program, "Porto Ballet" was special performance in commemoration of
the first anniversary of Villaggio Italia. The dance was accompanied by "San Marco
Orchestra" at the back. I was afraid that I would be sleepy on the way of the program.
But, the dance with the orchestra was enjoyable than expected.. It was not sung
since it was noto opera. But, a story behind the dance was briefly explained before
the performance, and I could follow the story with dance and music.

あらすじとは、｢或る家族の娘に恋をした男爵が娘の父親に反対され、娘と男爵の仲を
取り持とうと娘の母親や天使？のカップルや女性の天使８人位と男性の天使３人
が次から次に説得する｣というもの。　父親役のダンサーと母親役のダンサーが主人公
かなと錯覚するくらい、全体に各ダンサーの役割にバランスがとれている感じがしました。
単純ですが、単純だからこそ、めりはりの利いたダンスに仕上がっているのでしょう。
バレエと音楽が絶妙に融合されていました。　
The story is as follows:
A baron was in love with a girl of a family. Her father opposed to his keeping company
with her. Then, to arrange a match between him and her, her mother, couple of angels
eight female engels, three male angels who tried to persuade him turn and turn about.
I had an illusion that a damcer playiing as a father and a dancer playing as a mother
were leading character. But, role of each dancer seemed to be alloted in good balance
in all scenes. Development of scene or story was simple, and the simplicity may give
dances liveliness. Ballet and music were marmonized superblyl.

【１７２０年からあるヴェネツイアのサンマルコ広場にある大変伝統的なカフェ、フローリアン。
かつては、ゲーテ、ワーグナーなど歴史的な芸術家が集い、また映画｢旅情｣では
キャサリーン・ヘプバーンが窓辺に映るシーンも印象的です。　このフローリアンカフェ前
で演奏するイタリア独特のアンサンブルは大衆的な音楽から、映画音楽、JAZZ、そして、
超絶技巧を交えてのクラシックと多岐に渡ります。　というのも彼らは本来国立のオペラ
ハウスの主要メンバーであり、特にオペラのレパートリーは広く、６人のメンバーでオペラ
全幕成立してしまうのでは、と思えるほどエネルギーと歌心に溢れています。　ヨーロッパ

Really traditional cafe, Florian located at San Marco Square in Venezia since 1720
Historical artists such as Goethe or Wagner gathered at the cafe. Reflection of
Cathleen Hepburn by the window at the cafe in a movie, "Summertime" was impressive.
Repertoire of Italia proper ensemble performed in front of the cafe ranges from
popular music to movie's music, Jass and classic music. Because, they are basically
major member of national opera house, and have wide range of repertoire. They are
energetic enough to and have a poetic turn of mind to perform completely all scenes
of opera. Although they have received many request from various countries in Europe,
they visited Villaggio Italia in Nagoya Port as "Gille & Lulu San Marco Orchestra" and
have been highlighting Venezia-like music scenery

今回の公演はサンマルコ楽団とジル＆クリスティーナ率いるポートバレエとのアンサンブル。
Programms were performed as ensemble of San Marco Orchestra and "Porto Ballet"
led by Gille & Christina.

ゴンドラは乗船待ちの人で長蛇の列で乗船を諦めました。
Long queue waiting for boarding gondola made us give us boarding.

イタリア村を後にして栄のラシック(LACHIC） 8Fの北京料理｢胡同文華｣で早い夕食。
Leaving Villaggio Italia for Lachic in Sakae. We had early dinner at Beijing cuisine
restaurant,"HUTONG MANDARIN" at 8th floor of LACHIC.

ラシック斜め前（東北）にある中日ビルは去年から改装中。
Chunichi Building diagonally to the front (north east) of LACHIC is under refurbishing
since last year.
