最後の尾張瀬戸駅 The last 'Owari-Seto Station' [Photos taken on May 4 and 6, 2001] |
名鉄瀬戸線の始発駅「尾張瀬戸駅」駅舎は1925年(大正14年)に建築され、 2001年5月のゴールデンウイーク明け間もなく、周辺市民に惜しまれながら 取り壊される予定。 これに伴い、瀬戸市観光協会が5月5,6両日に「旧駅舎 お別れイベントーありがとう尾張瀬戸駅」を実施。 旧駅舎2階にはレストランがあり、当時は非常にハイカラで、周辺の人は一度 はここで、食事をしてみたいと思ったのではないでしょうか。 新駅舎は旧駅舎から約150m東に位置し、次のような特徴があります: 1 外観 登り窯をイメージ 2 全面に陶製タイルを配置 3 土の色を基調とした落ち着いた造り 4 壁の装飾として染付の陶板を貼り付け 5 環境に配慮し、トイレの流し水に雨水を利用、照明など電力の一部は 太陽光発電で賄う 6 行き先案内板はLED(発行ダイオード)表示 The starting station, 'Owari-Seto Station' of private railway 'Meitetsu Seto Line' has been built in 1925, and is scheduled to be dismantled or pulled down soon after the end of the Golden Week (from April 29 through May 5, both of which are public holidays) while Seto City citizens are unwilling to the station being dismantled. Seto City Tourist Association plans to a farewell event called 'Thanks for Owari-Seto Station' being hold on May 5 and 6. The former station had a restaurant at the 2nd floor which was chic, a place of longing to visit and a kind of recreation zone in the past. The new station is located about 150 m east of the former one, carrying the following features: 1 External appearance: Climbing or Ascending Kiln 2 Pottery tyles are arranged on the whole wall. 3 Serene structure based on clay color 4 Pottery plate drawn by a technique 'Seto Sometsuke' are put on the walls as decoration. 5 Considering the environment, rainwater is used for the flowing water in lavatories and a part of electricity such as illumination is covered with sun light-electricity-generation. 6 A direction board is displayed by LED(light emitting diode). |
