２００３年１２月１日からの地上デジタル放送開始前３ヶ月前イベント
｢デジタル放送体験クラブ in 瀬戸｣が２００３年９月２８日（日）瀬戸市デジタルリサーチ
パークセンターで催されました。又,当日は｢お～いニッポン今日はとことん愛知県｣が
同センターからNHK衛星第二放送で生中継されました（午前11:00～と午後2:00～）。
同センターは愛知県における情報通信技術の開発拠点となるよう期待されています。
An event "digital-broadcasting experience club in Seto" was held in Seto City Digital
Research Park Center on Sun., September 28, 2003, the day of three months before
terrestrial digital television broadcasting which will start on December 1, 2003.
Further, the center braodcasted "Hello Japan, Think Aichi Prefectre thorughly today"
through NHK Satellite Second Broadcast. (from am11:00; from pm2:00).
This center is expected to become the development base of the information
communication technology in Aichi Prefecture.

地上デジタル放送は東京、名古屋、大阪の三大都市圏で２００３年１２月から放送が
開始されます。２０１１年夏には現在のアナログ放送は終了し、テレビ放送は全て
デジタル放送になる計画です。
Terrestrial digital television broadcasting will start as from December, 2003 in three
metropolises in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. All television broadcasting is scheduled
to end the present analog broadcasting in summer of 2011, and to turn into terrestrial
digital television broadcasting

Q 現在のTVは使えなくなる？
A 地上デジタル放送対応チューナーを接続すれば使える。

Q 受信アンテナは？
A 現在使っているUHFアンテナも使える。（地上デジタル放送のチャンネルに
　よっては　交換が必要）。

Q テレビの買い替えは？
A 地上デジタルテレビ（地上デジタルチューナー内蔵）や地上デジタル放送対応
　チューナー　は２００３年秋以降に発売予定。

Q ケーブルテレビでも受信できる？
A 地上デジタル放送開始後に順次ケーブルテレビに導入される見込み。

Q Will it become impossible to use present TV ?
A Present TV can be used if a terrestrial digital television broadcasting
correspondence tuner is connected.

Q How about Receiving antenna ?
A The UHF antenna used now can also be used. (Depending on the channel of
　 terrestrial digital broadcasting, the exchange of the antenna is required) .

Q How about change of television ?
A A terrestrial digital television (terrestrial digital tuner built-in) and a terrestrial
　 digital television broadcasting correspondence tuner will be on the market after
　 the autumn of 2003.

Q Is it receivable with cable TV ?
A terrestrial digital broadcasting is likely to be introduced into cable TV one by one
　after a terrestrial digital television broadcasting start .

【備考２】
シャトルバス（写真参照）のテレビに同センターから発信された動画（センターにある
カメラでセンター見学者の動きを撮り、その画像をシャトルバスのテレビで受信）
が鮮明に映し出されていました。但し、このような移動体受信には大きな設備が必要で、
実用化にはしばらく時間がかかるようです。
【Remarks ２】
The animation (a motion of visitors into the center is photographed with the camera
in a center, and the television of a shuttle bus receives the picture) sent to the
television of a shuttle bus (refer to photograph) from this center was projected vividly.
It seems that big equipment is required for such move object reception. So, it will take
time for a while to make it practicable.

【まとめ】２００３年のデジタル放送で高画質、高音質、双方向、データ放送が
可能となり、更に将来は携帯受信、移動体受信も可能となる。専門家は
デジタル地上波による人体への影響は無いとしており、現在でもテレビ、ラジオ、
パソコン、携帯電話など電磁波は身の回りに氾濫しており、特に影響があるわけ
ではないので、デジタル地上波による影響も心配不要と思いたい。

High quality image, high quality sound, both directions-communication, and data
broadcasting become possible by digital broadcasting in 2003, and reception of
motion picture or date by portable telephone and moving object such as vehicle
are still also attained in the future. The specialist has said that there is no
influence on the human body by the digital terrestrial wave. The electromagnetic
wave from television, radio, a personal computer, a cellular phone, etc.is flooded
around us, but especially it has not affected a human body. So, I think it will be
unnecessary to worry about the influence on the human body by the digital
terrestrial wave.
