2004年11月27日、ビジターである名古屋学院大学と名古屋大学への留学生3名
(アメリカ、オーストラリア及びカナダ)及びガイド参加者並びに瀬戸英語ボランティア
グループのメンバー合計約30名が3グループに分かれて、下記コースを巡りました。

コース: 深川神社 → 宮前橋の陶板 → 末広商店街 → 瀬戸染付研修所

深川神社では、宮参りと七五三のお祝いで参詣されていた家族に会いました。

About 30 people in total consisting of three students to Nagoya Gakuin University
and Nagoya University (each from United States, Australia, and Canada) who play
a role as visitor to a tour, participants as guide to the tour and some of the member
from Seto English Volunteer Group divided into three groups, and came round the
following course on Novermber 27, 2004.

Course: Fukagawa Jinja shrine → Pottery plate on Miyamaebashi bridge →
Suehiro shopping mall → Institute of Seto Blue and White Ceramics

1 Torii; (or gateway at the entrance to a Shinto shrine), Hand wash place
2 Written oracle (or paper fortune), Sacredrope of Shinto, worshipping manner

Komainu is guardian dog and usually placed at the gate or in front of a Shinto shrine.

We met a family who visited Fukagawa Jinja shrine to take their new borne baby to
this shrine and cerebrate their child of three years of age in a festival (on November
15th) for children of three, five and seven years of age.
