瀬戸陶芸の精華展Finest Ceramics In Seto[

2005年日本国際博覧会開催を記念して、「瀬戸陶芸の精華展」というテーマで陶芸作品展
が瀬戸市美術館で2004年12月15日から2005年3月6日まで開催されています。
The ceramic art work exhibition has been held at Seto City Museum of Art from
December 15, 2004 to March 6, 2005 in the theme "Exhibition of Finest Ceramics In Seto"
in commemoration of The 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan .

2004年12月26日小雨が降る中、早速、瀬戸市美術館へ見に行きました。　
壮大な展示を鑑賞し堪能してきました。
I went to Seto City Museum of Art to see while it drizzled
I appreciated and was satisfied with the grand exhibition.

写真撮影禁止の為、ここでは、お見せできません。展示会の特徴を独断でご紹介します。
The feature of the exhibition is introduced here at my own discretion　since the work
cannot be shown because taking a picture is prohibited.

展示の特徴：

１　歴史に沿って、６世紀から現代までの瀬戸陶芸品のみに焦点を当てている。
２　伝説的もしくは著名な陶芸作家（注1参照）の代表的な作品が展示されており、
　　説得力と迫力を体験できる。
３　個人や各地の博物館等に収蔵されている貴重な作品を一同に展示する
　　今回のようなスケールの大きな展示は10年ないしそれ以上の単位でしか
　　開催するのは困難と思われる。

Feature of exhibition

1 The exhibits are concenterated on works of ceramic art made in Seto from the 6th
　 century to the present age according to the history.
2 Typical works of legend or famous ceramic artists (Refer to Note1) has been exhibited.
　 Spectator can feel persuasive power.
3 It will be possible to hold a big-scale exhibition like the one this time only at about
　 every 10 years or more. Because valuable works exhibited are stored by individual
　 or by museums at various disricts.

【注1】著名な陶芸作家の一部：
陳元贇（注2参照；御深井窯）、加藤春岱、加藤民吉（”伝”となっているので、必ずしも本人
ではないかもしれません）、藤井達吉、加藤唐九朗、鈴木青々、加藤舜陶、加藤鈔（名前は
「しょう」です。正式な漢字は金辺に「小」です）

【注2】陳元贇：
１６１０年、尾張藩主lord徳川義直は、他の地方に出ていた陶工を赤津村（現在の瀬戸市赤津）
に呼び寄せ、赤津窯の復興にあたらせ１６１６年赤津の陶工を名古屋城に招き、城内御深井丸
（おふけまる）に窯を築き、尾州御庭焼を焼かせた。
この御庭焼で今までの釉調とは異なる安南風呉須絵の御深井焼が中国人陳元贇によって
指導され、今日赤津焼の中で一番むつかしいといわれる淡青色灰釉の御深井釉が生まれた。

(naturalized Japanese from China; an instructer of Ofuke-ware in Nagoya Castle in 1600's.
