瀬戸歴史コースHistorical Course In Seto

2005年1月15日瀬戸英語ボランティアグループ主催のインターナショナル･瀬戸ガイド講座第2回
が行われました。
午後、小雨が降る中，「歴史コースと銀座通り商店街」と題した歴史コースを歩きました。
講座参加者が今後、瀬戸市への外国の観光客を案内する場合のスポットの一部を体験する趣旨です。
参加者とボランティアグループのみなさんと合わせて合計23名参加し、３グループに分かれ、
楽しく散策し、予定時間をかなり過ぎてしまいました。
途中、無風庵では部屋の中で座り、呈茶サービスを受けました。
ここは、水曜日が定休日で、午前１０時～午後３時、無料で呈茶サービスが受けられます。
コーヒーとか抹茶の有料サービスはありません。　瀬戸市が管理され、瀬戸市のシルバーセンター
派遣の方がサービスをされておられ、非常に感じが良く、瀬戸市は｢おもてなし｣にかなり気を配って
いるという印象を持ちました。
部屋では食べ物を持ち込んで食べてはいけませんが、縁側で座って、食べることは良いそうです。
従って、無風庵の縁側で、｢春、桜や眺望を賞でながら、サービスのお茶を飲み、外で買ってきた
食べ物を、食べる｣というのはお薦めです。瀬戸市の市民にも余り知られておらず、穴場です。

"2nd International・Seto Guide Lecture" was done under the auspices of Seto English volunteer
group on January 15, 2005.
While it was drizzleing in the afternoon, participants to the Lecture and some of the volunteer
members walked along the historical course entitled "Historical Course and Ginza Street Shopping
Mall".
Purpose of the guide lecture is that the participants go to see sightseeing spots in Seto City
beforehand and they will guide tourists from foreign countries to Seto by themselves.
23 people in total including the participants and the volunteers participate in this walk (lecture).
The people divided into three groups and strolled happily. So, the expected time has been passed
considerably.
On the way, we entered into Mufuuan hermitage (translated literally as "hermitage without wind" )
,sat in the room and received free tea service.
Mufuuan is opened for the time from 10:00AM to 3:00PM except for Wednesday.
Eating in the room is prohibited but sitting and eating at the veranda is allowed. So, it seems to
be good to buy something to eat outside, bring it to and eat it at the veranda.
In spring, enjoying panoramic view and cherry blossoms and drinking tea with food bought outside"
at the veranda is recommended.
The place is not known even to the citizens in Seto City so much, and is a good place known
to few people.
