｢こども和太鼓フェスティバルIN瀬戸｣ "Children Japanese Drum Festival in Seto"

２００５年７月３１日、｢せと・やきもの世界大交流イベント｣の一環として、｢こども和太鼓フェス
ティバルin 瀬戸｣が瀬戸市文化センターで午後１時３０分～午後３時５０分迄行われました。　
As a part of an event, "Seto Yakimono World Communication", "Children Japanese Drum
Festival in Seto" was hold at Seto City Cultural Center until from 1:30 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
on July 31, 2005.

文化センターの階段の前で、｢こども和太鼓フェスティバルIN瀬戸｣の出演団体の皆さんが
勢揃いされていたので、写真を撮らせて頂きました。
Groups who perform at "Children Japanese Drum Festival in Seto"assembled in full force.
in front of stairs on the site of Seto City Cultural Center. So, I asked for takiing photo of
them and was allowed to do so.

文化センターの周囲や階段に沿って飾られている風車がくるくる回って清涼感を醸し出して
いました。＜写真参照＞
Toy windmills arranged along circumference and stairs of the Cultural Center turned and
brought on a cool feeling. ＜See photo.＞

同じ敷地内の｢文化ホール｣では革細工、ガラス工芸品、彫金作品、絵画などの作品が
春夏秋冬の四季毎に展示されていました。　絵画は独立して別の部屋で展示されており、
たまたま、印象に残る作品があったので、作者の有無を係の人に聞いたら、偶然にも，
その作者だけが展示会に出席されていたので、了解を得て、撮りました。
絵画の作者は小沢英之氏で、氏がチュニジアで見られた景色を描かれています。
Work such as leather work, glass art work, chasing work and picture were exhibited for
four season at Cultural "bunka" Hall in the same site. The picture was exhibited
independently in another room. In the pictures, there was a work left in an impression
accidently. So, I asked a person in charge whether the artist attended or not. Then,
accidentally only the artist attended. I was allowed to take the photo by him.
The name of the artist is Mr. Hideyuki Ozawa who drew the scenery which he saw
in Tunisia.

次に、瀬戸市美術館で｢ヨーロッパのテーブルウェアーその優美な世界｣と｢瀬戸の現代陶芸
Part2｣の作品を鑑賞。
Next, I saw works of art "Tableware in Europe - Elegant World" and "Contemporary
Ceramic Art Part 2" at Seto City Art Museum

７月１０日に｢瀬戸蔵｣で見たステンドグラスのエッフェル塔に点滅する照明が当てられ、一段と
艶やかに見えました。　
Eiffel Tower of stained glass, which I had seen at "Setogura" on July 10, 2005, was thrown
blinking illumination and made attractive furthermore.

アビランド社（HAVILAND）のテーブルウェアや、クリスティーヌ・ワックスヴァイラー女史や
パトリシア・カソンヌ女史の艶やかな陶器（陶磁器？）の壷は本当にすばらしく写真が撮れない
のはちょっと残念でした。
tableware made by company, HAVILAND fascinating ceramic pott made by Ms Christine
Wakkusvairar and Ms Patricia Kasonnewas really splendid. (Spelliing of the names are not
sure.) It was unfortnate that I could not show them because taking photo are prohibited.

加藤舜陶氏（２００５年６月、他界されたので作品に喪章が置いてありました）や加藤鉦（しょう）
氏（金辺に木と書くのが正しい名前；２００１年８月他界で作品に喪章が置いてありました）、
若手では寺田康雄氏など、瀬戸市を代表する陶芸作家の作品がずらりと展示され圧巻です。
Among work by many Seto ceramic artists, were ceramic art work by Mr. Shunto Kato
(because he died in June, 2005, a mourning badge was put in his work), by Mr. How Kato
(because he died in August, 2001, a mourning badge was put in his work) and by Mr. Yasuo
Terada (He seems to be younger generation in Seto ceramic art field). The other many
ceramic art work made by the other many Seto ceramic artists ,who also represent Seto
ceramic art field, were exhibited.

瀬戸市文化センターの｢こども和太鼓フェスティバルIN瀬戸｣の開演にぎりぎりで間に合いました。
I was just in time for the raising of the curtain. of "Children Japanese Drum Festival in
Seto" at Seto City Cultural Center.

＜Summarized from Pamphlet, "Children Japanese Drum Festival in Seto"＞

１　｢いずみ太鼓　皷聖泉ジュニア｣（大阪府和泉市）
２００１年｢いずみ太鼓皷聖｣に属する小学生～中学生で結成。メンバーは現在２０名。
市内にとどまらず、府外でも活躍。
1 "Izumi Drum Koseisen Junior"Club (Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture)
This club was formed by schoolchildren and junior high school students who belongs to
"Izumi Daiko Kosei" in 2001. The club member's whole numbers are 20 people now.
They are taking active parts not only in the city but also outside Osaka prefecture.

２　｢青山太鼓保存会｣（三重県伊賀市）
１９９４年｢青山さくら太鼓｣を創生。、２００１年青少年育成と保存会の後継者育成を目的に、
子ども太鼓の編成に取組。現在、小・中・高校生を含め会員５０名の大所帯。
2 "Aoyama Drum Conservation Society" (Iga City, Mie Prefecture)
"Aoyama Sakura(cherry blossoms) drum" cub was established in 1994.
The club tackled the formation of Children Drumto Society to foster the youth and
the successor of the club in 2001. Now, the formed club has been big club with 50
member consisting of schoolchildren, junior high school students and high school student.

３　｢大治太鼓保存会｣（愛知県大治町）
尾張に伝わる伝統芸能を通して、青少年の健全育成と村おこしを目的に１９９２年設立。
尾張に古くから伝わる神楽太鼓を週２回稽古。　１９９９年、第一回ジュニアコンクールに
愛知県代表として参加、｢特別賞｣を受賞。
3 "Oharu drum preservation association" (Oharu Town, Aichi Prefecture)
This association was established to let youth grow healthily and revitalize Oharu Town
in 1992 through traditional entertainment (or performance) which has been handed down
in Owari district from generation to generation. A drum for Kagura (or sacred Shinto music
and dance) is practiced twice a week. The association participated in the 1st junior contest
as a representative of Aichi Prefecture in 1999 and won "Special price".

４　｢瀬戸子供太鼓こまいぬ座｣（愛知県瀬戸市）
故郷瀬戸を心から愛し、瀬戸の街づくりに参加して欲しいという思いで、１９９１年結成。
小中学生４０名で構成。　瀬戸らしく陶器の太鼓を製作し、やきもの１３００年の歴史を
物語る創作曲｢瀬戸川太鼓｣を演奏し、一躍｢こまいぬ座｣の名を有名にしました。
１９９６年（平成８年）にはフランスのパリへ万博誘致に、１９９８年には、ドイツ・
ハノーバー万博で演奏し、２００５年｢愛・地球博｣のPRに努めてきた。
4 "Seto Children Japanese Drum Komainu-Za "association (Seto City, Aichi
　 Prefecture)
The association was established in 1991 so that chuildre may love Seto sincerely
and participate in the forming of Seto City. They produce drums made of porcelain
and performed a creative tune "Setogawa Drum" which tells Seto with history of
1300 years in the production of pottery This performance jumped to make the
Komainu-Za ("Komainu" means "a pair of guardian dogs placed in front of Shinto
shrine") famous. They performed at Paris in France in 1996 and at Hannover EXPO
so that 2005 EXPO may be hold in Aichi Prefecture.

｢鬼島太鼓｣（長野県木島平村）＜第２回東京国際太鼓コンテスト最優秀賞＞（組太鼓部門
一般）　木島平村、村政施行８０周年を記念して創設。
小学５年生から高校生までの２０人で構成。
ジャズミュージシャンとの共演、ダンスグループとのジョイント、毎年のアメリカでの公演で、
和太鼓の世界の新境地を開拓。　２００１年、福井県で開催された｢オールジャパン太鼓
コンテスト｣また、２００４年東京・代々木にて開催された｢東京国際和太鼓コンテスト｣では
並み居る全国の成人グループを圧倒し、全国優勝。
"Kijima Drum" group (Kijimadaira village, Nagano Prefecture)
< the 2nd Tokyo international drum contest best prize >(Section: Kumi-Daiko drum &
general)
This group was established in commemoration of 80th anniversary of Kijimadaira village.
They compose of 20 people from the fifth grade of elementary school to the high school
students. By the performing together with jazz musician, collaboration with the dancing
group and perfomance in the United States every year, they opened up a new field in
Japanese Drum. They overwhelmed adult groups in the whole country and wion the
championship in "All Japan Drum Contest" held in Fukui Prefecture in 2001 and "Tokyo
International Japanese Drumdrum Contest" held in Yoyogi, Tokyo in 2004

｢岡野兄弟｣（愛知県尾張旭市）＜２００５年津軽三味線コンクール全国大会優勝
（少年少女の部）＞
兄：　岡野　将之（１７歳）　高校３年
　　　１２歳から津軽三味線奏者　神谷茂良氏に師事。
　　　２００５年津軽三味線全日本金木大会にて入賞（中高生の部）
弟：　岡野　哲也（１５歳）　高校１年
　　　１０歳から津軽三味線奏者　神谷茂良氏に師事。
　　　２００３年　全国津軽三味線大阪大会優勝　　　　（少年少女の部）
　　　２００４年　津軽三味線全国大会優勝　　　　　　　（ジュニアの部）
　　　２００５年　津軽三味線コンクール全国大会優勝　（少年少女の部）
　　　２００４年にスイス公演。その他、CBCテレビ｢大石へいこう｣NHK｢さらさらサラダ｣

Elder brother: Masayuki Okano (17 years old; third grade of high-school)
Tsugaru samisen player from 12 years old
He won a prize in the Tsugaru samisen all-Japan Kanagi rally in 2005.

Younger brother: Tetsuya Okano (15 years old; first grade of high-school)
He has been studying under Shigeyoshi Kamiya, Tsugaru samisen player from ten
years old.
