作陶体験した作品Work in Pottery Forming Experience

２００５年１０月２２日（土）に赤津焼会館及び２００５年１１月１２日窯元兼陶芸教室｢創陶｣
で作陶体験した作品が完成し、２００５年１２月１１日受け取りに行きました。
Work, which I formed in Pottery Forming Experience at "Akazu-Yaki Kaikan Center"
and Ceramic Art School "Soutou" each on October 22, 2005 and November 22, 2005,
were completed. The processes until completion from my forming include glazing on the
formed bodies and firing. Such processes were carried out by traditional craftsmen and
pottery respectively. Then, I went to receive them on December 11, 2005.

万博を記念して（？）発売した演歌｢織部川恋歌｣＜歌手：真咲よう子、作詞：瀬戸市の人＞
の碑が赤津焼会館の裏側（東側）のモリゾー・キッコロの碑の横に堂々と立っていました。
A monument for Enka, Japanese popular song "Oribegawa Koiuta" love song sold to
commemorate (?) EXPO2005 was put up at the east of the "Akazu-Yaki Kaikan Center"
and at the side of a ceramic nameplate for Morizo & Kiccoro.

｢創陶｣では手びねり作品（織部釉、黄瀬戸釉）を1点、　赤津焼会館ではロクロ成形作品
を２点（小鉢は織部釉＆黄瀬戸釉と湯のみ茶碗1点は織部釉のみ）、たたら成形作品
（織部釉、黄瀬戸釉）を1点の計3点を受け取りました。
I received 1 piece of work by "Tebineri-forming (Hand forming)"(applied with both
"Green Oribe-glaze" and "Yellow Kiseto-glaze") at "Soutou" , 2 pieces of work by
"Rokuro forming (ｔｈｒｏｗｉｎｇ)" (a small bowl applied with both "Green Oribe-glaze" and
"Yellow Kiseto-glaze"; a teacup applied only with "Green Oribe-glaze") and 1 piece of
work by "Tatara-forming (molding)" applied with both "Green Oribe-glaze" and "Yellow
Kiseto-glaze".

｢創陶｣さんでの作品は底にちょっと亀裂が入りましたが、色合いが非常に良いので
水気のない物を載せる小鉢として使おうと思っています。
Altough the bottome of the work at "Soutou" was cracked, the tone of a color
was fine. So, the small bow will be used for a vessel where dry food is put in.

赤津焼は湯のみ茶碗の緑が濃いのがちょっと気になりますが、この濃い緑が赤津焼の
織部釉の特徴。　土が非常に良いという感じが伝わります。　使うのがもったいないような
気がしますが、使いこんだほうが味が出るとの事なので、大事に使おうと思っています。
I feel a little uneasy about a color of the teacup.because the color applied with
"Green Oribe-glaze" is dark. But the dark green is a feature of "Akazu Green Oribe-glaze".
Quality china clay is felt. It seems to be too good to use. But, I will use the teacup with
care since it is said that using well for a long time will make it tasteful.

全ての作品に満足しています。
I am satisfied with all the work.

赤津焼会館に寄ったついでに、徒歩約2分の所にある窯元兼陶芸教室｢稲山陶苑｣さんの
ギャラリーで販売展示されている赤津焼を見てきました。　稲垣さんは赤津焼伝統工芸士です。
【御参考】　陶芸教室＜1回2時間で2500円；1回目ロクロで作陶、2回目絵付け、３回目釉薬作り
と釉掛け？、４回目　窯入れのようですが、４回だけでは、作陶技術は習得できないようです＞
や作陶体験＜小さい湯のみ茶碗で１個２０００円＞もできます。
After receiving the work at "Akazu-Yaki Kaikan Center", I dropped by "Inayama Touen",
pottery and ceramic art school to see "Akazu-yaki" pottery exhibited for sale at the gallery.
"Inayama Touen" is located about 2minutes on foot from the Center. Mr. Inagaki is "Akazu-
yaki" traditional craftsman.

At "Inayama Touen", you can choose either the learning at the ceramic art school or the
pottery forming experience
The ceramic art school:
yen2,500 for 2 hours; 1st time→Rokuro forming (ｔｈｒｏｗｉｎｇ), 2nd time→painting on the formed
body, 3rd time→making glazing agent and applying the agent to the painted body, 4th time→
firing. According to the pottery, it will be difficult to learn or acquire the pottery forming skill
.with only 4 times. ＞
pottery forming experience:
yen2,000 for 1 small teacup.
