｢窯のひろば｣と瀬戸市街散策"Kiln Square" and Walking Around Downtown Seto

2006年5月19日付け中日新聞記事でチャリティー作品展｢瀬戸のいまむかし｣が瀬戸市
朝日町の｢窯のひろば｣で行われことを知り、2006年5月21日見てきました。
作品は尾張旭市に住むボールペン画家の安部繁弘氏とその弟子の方達がボールペンで
描かれた名鉄瀬戸線の電車、駅、瀬戸、馬篭。高山などの風景です。
I came to know with an article on The Chunichi Shimbun of May 19, 2006 that a charity
work exhibition, " Now and Past of Seto" was been held at "Kiln Square" in Asahimachi,
Seto City. Then, I went to see it on May 21. Ballpoint pen painting painter, Mr. Shigehiro
Abe from Owariasahi City and his pupil provided their works to the charity work exhibition
at lower prices than usual for cooperation to the erection of a kiln inside the "Kiln Square".
More than ten thousands of tiles are said to be needed to complete the erection of the kiln.
People of NPO (Non Profit Organization), "M to M" are trying to gather funds for the tiles.
The erection will be done by them.

The "Kiln Square" is operated by NPO, "M to M" .

次に、５０ｍ程西にあるギャラリー｢かわらばんや｣の2階で｢『狛犬（こまいぬ）』と『つちねこ』｣
というタイトルで、これらの想像上の動物の陶器作品が展示されていたので、見てきました。
Next, I visited Gallery "Kawarabanya"　(former engraving producer and distributer) to see
imaginary animals, "Guardian dogs" and "Tsuchineko" (translated literally as "earth cat")
made of pottery. The Gallery is about 50 m west of the "Kiln Square".

更に５０ｍ程西にある、スパゲッティが美味しい喫茶店｢かふぇれすと　たうん｣の道路を挟み
斜め前が入口になっている古民家｢久米邸｣の庭を見て、ここから反対に東へ４００ｍ程の所
にある深川神社へ。境内には神社経営のホテル｢瀬戸パークホテル｣があり、瀬戸市街観光
の拠点としてお奨めです。
An entrance for "Old private house, Kume House" is diagonally opposite a coffee shop,
"Cafe Rest Town" located about 50 m west of "Kawarabanya".
I saw a garden at Kume House, went to Fukagawa Jinja shrine, about 400 m east of
Kume House. In the premises of the shrine, "Seto Park Hotel" is placed operated by the
shrine. This hotel is recommendable as a base to visit sightseeing spots downtown Seto.

最後に、深川神社の南５０m程の所にある宮前駐車場（土・日曜の10時から一般に無料開放）
に駐車してある車に乗り、帰宅。
Finally, I went to Miyamae Parking Lot (opened to the public as a parking lot, free of charge
from 10 a.m. each on Saturday and Sunday; usually used for emergency evacuation area) and
returned home by car.

｢かわらばんや｣玄関横の展示会の案内 Notice on Exhibition by the side of Gallery "Kawarabanya"	喫茶店｢かふぇれすと　たうん｣奥に銀座通り商店街が見える Coffee shop "Cafe Rest Town" "Ginza street shopping mall" can be seen at its left and back.
