| 瀬戸市で押花展 Pressed Flowers Exhibition in Seto City, Aichi, Japan (Photos taken on March 11, 2007) |
| ２００７年３月１１日瀬戸市の瀬戸信用金庫本店ギャラリー「ギャラリーひまわり」で押花展 が催されていたので、鑑賞し、押花でコースター作りを体験してきました。 押花を載せたｺｰｽﾀｰが透明の樹脂の間に挟まれてプレスされ、余った樹脂の部分を ハサミで切って完成です。 透明の樹脂の外面に静電除去の紙がありますが、その紙自体に静電気がたまっていて、 せっかく載せた押花がコースターから剥がれてしまい、インストラクターの方が剥がれた 押花を戻されていました。 後になって、冷まされた紙と樹脂がセットになったのを使ったら、静電気が取れていて、 スムースに透明の樹脂の間に挟まれてプレスされました。 A pressed flowers exhibition was held at gallery, "Gallery Himawari" at Seto Shinkin Bank head office in Seto City on March 11, 2007. We enjoyed looking at art made of pressed flowers, and experienced producing coasters by the use of cute, little, colorful, dried flowers. To complete the coasters, first, we placed the flowers on the coasters. Then, .an instructor sandwiched in the flowers-placed-coasters between transparent plastic sheets to press. After being pressed, we trimmed the excess part of the plastic sheets with shears. With the above processes, the coasters were completed. Static electricity was produced by the papers themselves although papers for removal of static electricity were put on the outer surface of the transparent plastic sheets. So, pressed flowers arranged on a paper coaster parted due to the static electricity. An instructor tried to put the parted flowers back in place. It is found out later that arranged pressed flowers were smoothly formed into coaster by using set of cooled papers with transparent plastic sheets because the set of cooled papers had no static electricity. 今回の押花展は｢ふしぎな花倶楽部｣に属すると思われる｢森田手芸サークル押花倶楽部｣ による合同展です。 The exhibition was hold jointly by Morita Fancywork Circle Pressed Flowers Club and the other which seemed to belong to"Fushigina Hana Club" (translated literally as "Marvelous Flower Club") . 以下に押花コースター制作体験の雰囲気と展示作品の一部を示します。 それぞれ１０種類以上の乾燥した押花で作られた繊細な作品は油絵とか水彩画とは 違う美しさと味わいがありました。 Air of producing of pressed flowers-coasters and some of works are shown below. Sensitive works each made of ten or more colorful, dried flowers were felt beauty and taste different from oils and waters. |
