ミッドランドスクエアと三英傑からくり "Midland Square" and "Three biggest heros Wind-Up Dolls"

２００７年６月２日名古屋市のミッドランドスクエアへ行ってきました。
日本で最も高いオープンエア型の展望施設、スカイプロムナード（地上２２０ｍ）を46階から
44階へ左回りに歩いて行くと南→東→北→西の方角の順番で窓から眺望を楽しめます。
We went to "Midland Square" in Nagoya City on June 2, 2007.
When walking down "Sky promenade", the highest observation room 220 meters above
the ground open to the sky, from 46th floor to 44th one anti-clockwise, enjoyed are view
through windows in order of direction of south → east → north → west.

JR東海の名古屋駅ビルであるJRセントラルタワーズの東の大名古屋ビルヂング＜1965
(S40)年に三菱地所が建設＞が取り壊されるのではという噂があり、撮影しておきました。
ウェブページ作者が学生の頃は、クラブ活動を終えた後に、この屋上のビヤガーデンへ、
生ビールを飲みに仲間と来たものです。
"Great Nagoya Buliding", in front and east of JR Central Towers, has bee built in 1965.
Photos were taken since there is a rumor of if the building is pulled down.
After finishing a club activitie when the web page writer was a student in a university
the writer used to come to the rooftop beer garden of the buiding to drink draft beer
with friends.

JR Central Towers is a bulding placed on Nagoya Station of JR Central (Central Japan
Railway Company).

２００７年５月５日、上演時刻午後２時と書いてあるパンフレットを信用して若宮大通と
大津通の交差点｢矢場町｣北西角にあるからくり人形　｢三英傑からくり｣（秀吉、信長、家康）
を見に行ったが、上演されていなかった。　
Trusting a pamphlet which says that performance of Three biggest heros Wind-Up Dolls
is started at 2:00 p.m., we went there to see the performace on May 5, 2007.
The performance was not started on the time.

後でインターネットで調べたら、上演時刻は午後３時。結論はパンフレット（大須商店街連盟
作成）の間違い。　６月２日午後３時、上演を楽しめました。
When searching on an internet, the performing time of the Three biggest heros Wind-Up
Dolls is 3:00 p.m. The pamphlet (made by Osu Shopping Mall Association) is wrong. We
could enjoy the performance at 3:00 p.m on June 2, 2007.

The following are explanation on views at the Sky promenade:

＜南を望む＞

写真ほぼ中央に工事中のモード学園スパイラルタワーズ（地上36階高さ１７０ｍ；
2008年2月完成予定）が見えます。
2007年6月6日に工事中のこのスパイラルタワーズの地上１５０ｍから約１００ｋｇの鋼材
が落下、8階のガラス壁に衝突し、車道に落ちたが、たまたま、車道の交差点も赤信号で
通行車両がなかったので、奇跡的にけが人はなかった、と翌日の中日新聞が報じた。
（事故状況は写真撮影の後に記載）
写真右下に名鉄バスターミナル、名鉄百貨店のメンズ館、ヤング館　（以前は、名鉄百貨店
「メルサ館」）、写真右端から中央上にかけて「名鉄名古屋本線」「JR東海道本線」、
写真上に「名古屋高速道路5号線」が見えます。

"Nagoya Mode Academy Spiral Towers" under construction is seen around the center
of photo.The Towers of 36 stories and 170 meters above the ground is expected to
be completed in February, 2008.
"On June 6, 2007, about 100kg steel materials fell from 150m above ground of the Towers,
collided with the glass wall of the eighth floor, and fell to the driveway. By chance, since
an intersectional signal was red, there were no passing vehicles and no wounded person
miraculously", newspaper of The Chunichi Shinbun said next day (June 7).
(The situation of the above accident was reported after the photo shown.)
Meitestu Bus Terminal, Mens House and Young House of Meitetsu Department Store
(formerly "Melsa House" of Meitetsu Department Store ) in the lower right-hand corner
of the photo, main line of "Meitetsu private line" and "JR Tokaido Line" for portion from
its right end to its center and "Nagoya Expressway No.5 route" are seen.

＜東を望む＞
空が澄んでいると名古屋テレビ塔、瀬戸市の猿投山、長野県の南アルプスなどを望めます。
左から「桜通」「錦通」「広小路通」。その先には、名古屋の中心、栄の街並が一望できます

If sky is clear, Nagoya TV Tower, Mt. Sanage in Seto City, South-Alps in Nagano
Prefecture and the others can be seen. Streets of "Sakura-doori", "Nishiki-doori"
and "Hirokoji-doori" in order from left. Ahead of the streets, Sakae, downtown
Nagoya is seen.

＜北を望む＞
左端にバスターミナルの一部、名古屋中央郵便局、その後ろに名古屋ルーセントタワー
写真下中央左に大名古屋ビルヂングの一部が見えます。写真には見えないですが、
左端の下にバスターミナルに隣接して松坂屋名古屋駅店があります。

Part of bus terminal and Nagoya Central Post Office at the left end of the photo,
Nagoya Lucent Tower at the back and part of Great Nagoya Buliding at the center left
are seen. Although not seen in the photo, Matsuzakaya department store, Nagoyaekiten
adjoins the bus terminal at the lower portion of the left end.
