ノベルティこども創造館

２００４年２月７日（土）～３月７日（日）陶器のお雛様の紹介を主とした｢陶のまち　
瀬戸のお雛めぐり｣が瀬戸市全域（市街地、水野、赤津、品野など）で催されています。
今回の企画には市内の私設、公設合わせ４２軒が参加しています。
初日の今日は｢ノベルティ・こども創造館｣へ行き原型師によるお雛様づくりを見てきました。
味わいと温かみがある小原村の土雛は末広商店街で展示されています。
A festival, "City of Ceramics, Seto, Looking around Seto's Doll for Doll Festival" mainly
concerned with introduction of the doll made of china clay is held throughout Seto City
(downtown, Mizuno, Akazu, Shinano, and the other area) for a period of Sat., February 7,
2004 through Sun., March 7, 2004.
42 private and pablic establishments participate in the plan.

《ノベルティ・こども創造館の概要》
駐車場：　無し。　
アクセス：深川神社の近くの宮前駐車場（土・日曜のみ無料開放）から徒歩３分。
入館料：無料
休館日：月曜日　（月曜日が祝祭日の場合は翌日休館）
開館時間：　１０：００～１７：００

１子供が陶器などに触れて、創造性や感性を磨ける工夫が広い館内に随所に施されている。
２ノベルティの製造工程が写真でわかりやすく説明されている。　
３小さい子供がいる家族が安心して楽しめる。
４子供がここで作った陶製のタイルが部屋の壁に吊るしてあり、子供達のやる気を出している。

《Outline of Seto Novelty Children's Creative Center》
Ｐarking lot:
Access: about 3 minutes on foot from "Miyamae Parking lot" (available free in Saturday
　　　　　and Sunday)
Admission fee: free
Closed day: Monday
Opened time: 10:00 - 17:00

1 Various idea is provided inside the large center so that chldren can touch clay or ceramics
　 and cultivate creativity or sensibility.
2 Manufacturing process of novelty is shown on photos with an explanation hung on the wall.
3 Families with children can enjoy at ease.
4 Ceramic tiles made by children here are hung on the wall, which will give children an incentive
　 to do or think positively.

この館の入口を入って左に幾つかの理念などが掲示されていましたが、その内の１つを
以下に紹介します。

<マイ・メジャー>
子供が子供時代に経験しなければならない事は、自分を取り巻く世界、　世の中の仕組み
に気付いていく事、その中で自分が生きていけるという感覚を持つことではないでしょうか。
子供達が、自分達の周りの環境を測るのに、自分の固有の物差し、感じ方を持っていたら
・・・。そんな思いから生れてきたのがこれらの遊びです。自分の身体がメジャーになったり、
自分の触覚で様々なものを感じてみたり、・・・。　子供達は自分自身の感覚の確かさを感じ、
それを他の人から尊重され、また他の人との違いを感じながら、自分自身のやり方で環境
と関わり、また自分の周りや世の中を変えていく力を得ていくのだと思います。

１　上記写真の｢素焼｣｢本焼き｣の製品とも釉薬をかけられていない。
２　完成品の用途や風合い等により、製造方法や工程が異なります。
　　例えば、
　　１）素地成形→本焼き（釉掛けしない）→絵付→絵付焼成（写真の方法）
　　　　＊釉掛けせずに、絵付焼成することにより、自然な風合いが醸し出される。
　　２）素地成形→素焼き→下絵付け→透明釉掛け→本焼き　（いわゆる瀬戸染付）
　　３）素地成形→素焼き→下絵付け→透明釉掛け→本焼き→上絵付→絵付焼成

1 In the above photos, any glazing agents are not applied before biscuit firing and
　before firing (about 1,300 degrees C).
2 The production method and stages may depend on the application or the aesthetic
　 propertyof the finished works. Some of the examples are:
　 1) Forming of body→firing without glazing (about 1,300 degrees C)→painting
　　 →firing (about 700 degrees C)
　　 * This production method does not apply any glazing agent to the body and
　　　 mayl create natural flavor.
　 2) Forming of body→ biscuit firing→underglaze painting→transparent glazing
　　　→firing (about 1,300 degrees C) (The production method of "Seto-Sometsuke"
　　　or "Blue and White porcelain work" belongs to this one.)
　 3) Forming of body→ biscuit firing→underglaze painting→transparent glazing
　　　→firing (about 1,300 degrees C)→overglaze painting
　　　→firing (about 700 degrees C)
