ノベルティ・こども創造館２００５年

２００５年２月５日（土）～３月３日（木）｢陶のまち瀬戸のお雛めぐり｣が瀬戸市全域
（市街地、水野、赤津、品野など）で催されています。
２月２７日、かみさんがパン教室で知合った方の家族と一緒に｢ノベルティ・こども創造館｣
｢瀬戸市新世紀工芸館｣｢品野陶磁器センター｣へ行って、陶器やガラス製のお雛様を見たり,
粘土細工（子供のみ）や絵付体験をしてきました。
A festival, "City of Ceramics, Seto, Looking around Seto's Doll for Doll Festival" mainly
concerned with introduction of the doll made of china clay is held throughout Seto City
(downtown, Mizuno, Akazu, Shinano, and the other area) for a period of Sat., February 5,
2005 through Thurs., March 7, 2005.
I went to "Seto Novelty Children's Creative Center", "Seto Ceramics and Glass
Art Center" and "Shinano Ceramic Center" on February 27, 2005 with a family whose
mother my wife got to know in a bread making classroom. At those centers, we looked dolls
for Girls' Festival made of china clay or glass. Furthermore, their children experienced
clay work and we all experienced painting on biscuit ware.

｢ノベルティ・こども創造館｣では、子供が無料粘土成形を体験できます。
最初にインストラクターが子供にルールや道具の使い方を分かりやすく説明します。
子供は粘土で思い思いに描いた料理を成形し完成品と共に、自分で価格と料理の名前を
付けたメニューカードをメニューウィンドウへ置きます。

In "Seto Novelty Children's Creative Center", children can experience the forming of clay
work free of charge. First, an instructor will explain plainly them how to use tools or how to
proceed with. Then they will form dishes as they imagine. On the completed dishes, they
name and put the prices. Finally, they put a finished dishes and the menu card to a menu
window.

保育園から小学生まで、創造性を養いながら、物作りを楽しめます。　お勧めです。
Children from a nursery school to a primary school can enjoy the making of thing while
developping creativity.

駐車場がありませんが、宮前駐車場から３５０ｍ程北へ真っ直ぐの所にありますので、
不便を余り感じません。
"Seto Novelty Children's Creative Center" is located at around 350m straight north from
Miyamae parking lot. So, inconvenience will not be felt very much.

その後、宮前歩道橋を渡って、｢瀬戸市新世紀工芸館｣へ。｢ノベルティ・こども創造館｣
から５５０ｍ程南へ真っ直ぐの所にあります。　（宮前駐車場が中間にあります。）
Begining to walk south about 350 m at "Seto Novelty Children's Creative Center",
crossing Miyamae pedestrian bridge and walking further about 200 m, we arrive at
"Seto Ceramics and Glass Art Center". (Miyamae parking lot is between "Seto Novelty
Children's Creative Center" and "Seto Ceramics and Glass Art Center".)

｢瀬戸市新世紀工芸館｣には２週間前の２月１３日に見た展示品の陶製雛のいくつかが
売れてしまって、違う商品が展示されていました。
In "Seto Ceramics and Glass Art Center", some of dolls for Girls' Festival made of china clay
exhibited for sale, which were seen 2 weeks ago, were sold out and the substitute were
exhibited.

｢品野陶磁器センター｣では、２階で絵付体験を全員がしました。
In "Shinano Ceramic Center", all the member experienced painting on biscuit ware at the 2nd floor.

いろんな形の素焼の陶器と陶磁器があって、値段が違います。５００円位から１，５００円位？
の素焼から選べます。種類が豊富で選ぶのに時間がかかりました。
There are many biscuit fired pottery and porcelain of many shape which are different in prices.
Choose your favorite biscuit ware from those in prices between yen500 and yen1,500(?)

小生は陶器のコーヒーカップ、かみさんは抹茶茶碗。知合いの方は４人家族で陶器の
コップと茶碗を選びました。
I chose a coffe cup of pottery and my wife bowl for powdered green tea of pottery.
The acquaintance of the family of four chose cup and bowl of pottery.

図案集があり、それを見てもいいし、自分が好きなように描いても良いです。
You can draw picture based on collected designs or as you like.

絵筆に呉須（酸化コバルトの絵付の顔料）を付け、描く所まで。これ以後の、釉掛けや
焼成は、センターの職人さんにしてもらって、後日（１ヶ月後？）完成すると、葉書で
連絡が送られてくるので、その時に、センターへ取りに行きます。（送付もしてもらえますが、
有料です）。　
The process which we can do is to soak a painting brush in zaffer (blue pigment containing cobalt oxide)
and draw a picture inside and/or outside of the selected biscuit ware. Glazing and firing after the
process is carried out by craftsman at the center. About 1month later, postal card is sent to
inform completion of pottery work and delivery time. In the period of delivery time, you should
take delivery or you inform the center to dispatch. (In case of despatch, dispatching fee is charged.)
