名古屋工業大学留学生-瀬戸視察交流事業

２００４年２月２８日（土曜日）名古屋工業大学への留学生が瀬戸を見学。
名工大への留学生は全体で約２００名。その内、２８名が今回交流事業に
参加されました。見学等の日程は次の通り。

visited Seto City on February 28, 2004. 28 as an interchange program
between Seto City and the Institute for revitalization of ceramic industry

ボランティア通訳として交流事業に参加しましたが、留学生は殆ど日本語を聴き取り、
話もでき、多くの場面は日本語の案内で十分コミュニケーションを取れました。　
留学生２８名の内、１７名に専門、学位及び出身国を尋ねたら、セラミックス、物理、
情報工学、電気情報、産業、建築、物質工学等。　全員が博士課程又は修士課程。
中国、インド、アルジェリア、タイ、インドネシア、ミャンマー、バングラデシュ。
講義は英語と日本語であり、非常に勉強されている事がわかります。
皆さん、礼儀正しく、友好的で、心も開かれており、一緒にいて、非常に楽しかった。
例えば、インドの留学生は中国の留学生から中国語を学ぼうとしていました。
I attended the interchange program as an volunteer interpreter, but almost all
students could listen to Japanese language and speak it very well. In many
scenes, Japanese language was enough to communicate.
According to 17 students, their major are ceramics, physics, information
engineeriing, electric information, industry, architecture, material engineering, etc. ;
they are taking doctoral course or master's course. ;
thery are from China, India, Algeria, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
It is easy to understand that they study Japanese hard since lectures are given in
Japanese or English. They are well mannered, friendly and open-minded. So, it was
very pleasant to be with them. For example, students from India tried to learn
Chinese language from students from China.
