名古屋工業大学留学生-瀬戸視察交流事業P2

市民講座｢国際セラミックスフォーラム・イン・瀬戸｣が開かれました。　このうち、
前半の部のみ概要を紹介します。

Citizen lecture "International Ceramics Forum in Seto" was given at
Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum for 13:30 - 15:40 on February 28, 2004
The outline of the first half of the lecure is follows:

講演：　｢ファエンツァ市における文化交流・陶芸｣
講師：　イタリア在住陶芸作家　平井トモ氏
Lecture:Title: Cultural exchange and ceramics in a city, Faentzia, Italy
Lecturer: Mr. Tomo Hirai, ceramic artist living in Italy

講演の要旨：
Summary of Lecture:

・平井トモ氏は１９４７年生れ。現在はファエンツァ市在住。
　ファエンツァ陶芸協会会員で同市における日本担当代表である。
・ファエンツァ市は人口約５３，０００人、内約１０％がセラミックス関連に
　就業している。市の北にタイル産業がある。
・ファエンツァは日本における｢瀬戸｣と同じように、ヨーロッパでは｢やきもの｣
　の代名詞になっている。
・セラミックス産業を活性化させようと、イタリアの約３０の窯業の町を
　ネットワークで結ぶことを計画している。
・ヨーロッパでセラミックス交流する場合、予算はさほど必要としないが、
　日本と交流する場合、市の予算をかなり圧迫する。　しかし、日本重視の
　立場から、予算計上の努力をしている。
・ファエンツァ市から日本へ人を派遣するのは予算的に苦しいので、日本から
　陶芸家等を招請するようにしている。
・本講座受講者の方から瀬戸のセラミックス産業に関するコメントを聴いて、
　ファエンツァ市での取り組みの参考にしたい。

* Mr. Tomo Hirai was born in 1947 and lives in Faentzia, Italy now.
　Member of Ceramic Art Association of Faentzia, and a delegate on
　behalf of Faentzia in negotiation with Japan.
* The population in Faentzia is about 53,000. About 10% of the population
　 is engaged in industry related to ceramics. There is a tile industry in the
　 north of the city
* Faentzia is a pronoun of earthenware in Europe like Seto is the one in
　 Japan.
* Faentzia plans to link together about 30 cities in Italy related to ceramics
　 to revitalize ceramic industry.
* When exchanging ceramic culture in Europe, so much budget is not needed,
　 but is when doing in in Japan. But the city regards Japan as important, and
　 strives to get budget.
* To realize the exchange with Japan and to avoid oppressing the city budget,
　 Faentzia is considering to invite Japanese ceramic artists.
* I want to hear the comment about the ceramic industry of Seto from these
　 lecture participants, and to make it reference of the measure in Faentzia.
