| [April 14 and 15, 2001] Sakakibara Hot Spa. My wife and I have made an overnight trip to Sakakibara Spa (hot spring) which is located about 120 km south west of Seto City - about 2 hours drive distance - using expressways or toll roads (Higashi Mei-Han toll road and Ise toll road). The quality of the hot spring is soft and smooth and the Spa is called as one of the top three spa in Japan. (Please see Note 1 below.) Besides hop spa, there is a famous temple called 'Houshusan Dai-Kannonji' within about 5 minutes drive. (Please see Note 2 below.) [Note]: 1 There are differenct kinds of ranking in hot spring because Japanese like hot spas very much and such ranking should be considered for only reference. 2 'Houshusan Dai-Kannonji' is literally translated as 'Mt. Treasure Jewel Large Goddess of Mercy Temple. |
[Feb. 9, 2002] Public hotel, "Shinto-Kan" My mother, my wife and I stayed at public hotel 'Shinto-Kan' in Sakakibara Hot Spa on Feb. 9, 2002 after paying visit to Houshusen Dai-Kannonji Temple on the day. Barrier-free special room was provied because my mother is weak in the legs. So, even if my mother could not go to a big bathroom used by lodgers in this hotel, she can enjoy hot spring in the room. For your reference, please see the photos for the room, bathroom and labatory. Next day, we went to Yourou-Falls. which photos are shown in Scenery No. 9. |
[March 21, 2003] 猪の倉温泉 ファミリー温泉｢しらさぎ苑｣（写真参照） 榊原温泉には１０回以上来ていますが、ここは知りませんでした。 泉質は榊原温泉とそっくりで、つるつるすべすべの美人の湯です。瀬戸市の自宅から 日帰りで榊原観音にお参りして温泉につかって帰る場合、久居市の公共温泉 ｢湯の瀬｣を利用していましたが、｢湯の瀬｣より｢しらさぎ苑｣はもっとつるつるすべすべ感 があり、非常に気に入りました。 場所：近鉄榊原温泉口下車、榊原観音（寶珠山大観音寺）へ行く時に、くぐる線路の 高架（ガード）を出てすぐ左折し、線路沿いに西へ５００ｍ位行ってガイド看板 に従って右折約３００ｍ。（車で約5分） 駐車場：300台無料 温泉の泉質：アルカリ単純泉で硫黄が少し含まれている 入館料：８００円（貸しタオル付き；ボディーソープ、リンスインシャンプー、ヘアトニック ドライヤー無料完備） 営業時間：午前１０時〜午後9時（入館は午後8時迄） 休業日：毎週水曜日 雰囲気：設備的には一般的なスーパー銭湯に似ていますが、面白いと思ったのは、 8畳の和室が６室あり、時間当たり１０００円で利用可能ということです。 電話：059-262-4126 三重県老人休養ホーム公共の宿｢ふよう荘｣（写真参照） ｢しらさぎ苑｣にほぼ隣接するように｢ふよう荘｣があり、宿のフロントの方に聞いたところ、 泉質は榊原温泉と同じとのこと。 入浴料金：９００円 日帰り料金（食事：税・サービス料込み；入湯税１５０円別）：食事は広間。 ３区分あり→３５８１円、４７３６円、５８９１円 電話：059-262-5888 |
